Village of Babylon Code Enforcement and other security will be on-site to assist fair officials.
You may only move your space if authorized by a fair official (applies only if the area is wet). All setup must be completed by 8:00 am. Break down must be completed by 5:30 pm.
For rain notifications on the day of the fair please check our website and Facebook page for updates. We will post the necessary notifications at 5 am. In the event of inclement weather, the fair will be held on Sunday, September 19.
Your fair application was approved based on the information you provided and your affirmation that all items you are selling are hand-made. We will not permit any vendor to sell items that are not hand-made. Fair officials will be onsite visiting each vendor to ensure all items being sold are hand-made. If you are selling other items that are not hand-made you will be removed from the fairgrounds.
All vendor spaces are 10’ x 10’. These dimensions will easily accommodate your display needs. Vendors are not permitted to alter any part of the landscape. Trimming or cutting of any tree or shrub is strictly prohibited. Any vendor who does so will be removed from the site.
The following are prohibited: organizations that are social, religious, and political in nature. Service organizations and service firms are also prohibited. Non-profit organizations and any type of fundraising are strictly prohibited.
Spaces are assigned based on receipt of your paid application. We do our best to accommodate all vendor requests. Please keep in mind that the venue is a park so the ground is not level.
Spaces are non-transferable and cannot be sold or transferred to another vendor. Fair officials may ask for your ID at any time. If you aren’t present and someone else is in your space they will be removed from the fairgrounds and you will be prohibited from participating in future fairs.
Babylon Beautification Society officials will be present to assist you in finding assigned spaces and addressing any questions or concerns that may arise.
Gas-powered generators or any type of equipment of that nature is strictly prohibited. Food vendors are prohibited from selling manufactured food items. All food items must be prepackaged and vendors are prohibited from preparing or packaging food onsite. Heating and refrigeration units are strictly prohibited.
Beverages of any type are prohibited unless a special exception was granted in advance. This includes homemade beverages, bottled water, and other bottled/canned beverages. The sale of alcohol is strictly prohibited.
Neither the Babylon Beautification Society nor the Village of Babylon shall be held liable for any damages, loss, theft, or injury resulting from the participation of the applicant and/or his/her agents. Each vendor is solely liable for his/her person and property, as well as that of his/her agents, before, during, and after the event.
Conduct & Behavior
We expect all vendors to be professional and treat other vendors and visitors in a kind and courteous manner. We reserve the right to remove any vendor or person from the premises for any reason. Refunds will not be given to any vendor removed from the site.
Unloading/Loading & Parking Rules
Note: the parking lot at Argyle Park will be closed to vehicles as it will be used for vendor spaces. Vehicles will not be permitted to enter this area at any time.

There is no loading/unloading on any grass areas
There is no parking on the grass.
You are prohibited from driving on the grass or any part of the Park area.
Vendor parking is limited to the parking field on the North Side of Argyle Park on Trolley Line Road.
All vendor vehicles must clearly display their space number on the driver-side dashboard of each vehicle. A parking permit will be emailed to you along with your space number.
